Training Veterans for Their Last Career

If you are a Service-Disabled Veteran (SDV) looking to return to work quickly, and without having to take unnecessary coursework, Technical Training Corporation's Train, Certify, and Work (TCW) program equips you with industry-standard certifications and essential skills for today’s electronics and IT industries in a shortened time frame.

The goal of the TCW program is to enable you to achieve independence through meaningful and sustainable employment in the electronics or IT industry as confident and prepared new employees.

TTC’s training begins with zero assumptions. Prior training, education, or experience in electronics is not necessary to successfully complete our training! If you are willing to put in the time and effort to learn, we are here to help you succeed.

TCW is built with “stackable credentials,” a sequence of industry-recognized certificates earned in a logical sequence to build up your qualifications and help you move along a career pathway to different and higher-paying jobs.

Our Certification Courses Provide Credentials

We help fill the skills gap between what employers need and what traditional two and four-year programs provide. From our research (confirmed by U.S. Department of Labor statistics) and our experience, we know that only 12% of employers of electronics assemblers require some college-level education. Likewise, we know that less than half of the employers of electronics technicians require an Associate’s Degree or higher, while almost 25% require a post-secondary technical certificate such as those obtained through our training.

At the end of our course, our Career Assistance Program (CAP) will assist you with: resume writing; interview preparation and rehearsal; and determining the best employer/employee fit depending upon your:

  • Knowledge and life experience
  • Preferred geographic location
  • Preferred industry sector and/or companies
  • Preferred work environment

There are no out-of-pocket costs for service-disabled veterans.

All Training Costs Are Covered by Your Earned Benefits

It's an incredible program! Under Veterans Rehabilitation and Employment (VR&E), Chapter 31 your costs are covered! While in training, you may be eligible to receive a monthly stipend (payment) from the VA; questions concerning the stipend should be directed to your VR&E counselor.

The only requirements for admission to our TCW program are: 1) a desire to work in the electronics or IT industry; 2) a personal visit to our Powder Springs facility; and, 3) approval by your VR&E counselor.

As VR&E funding is intended to prepare veterans for sustainable employment, we have combined our individual courses into career tracks to equip you with the skills most in demand by today’s employers.
