Course Overview

This is the second of five basic modules designed to provide a path for the technician leading to Associate CET (CETA) credential. Once a technician attains all five module certifications, ETA will issue an official Associate CET certification. This course covers principles of alternating current, passive electronic components, electronic terminology, principles of inductance, principle of capacitance, transformer theory, alternating current generators and motors, RC, RL and RCL principles, cabling, test equipment and measurements, electronic safety precautions, and mathematic formulas for alternating current.
